Seems related to DNS - on my phone YouTube does not work at all (app or browser), DNS is set to 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8 but requests seem to be dropped upstream (I see packets leave my router, but they never get a response)

On my desktop, it works just fine using 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8 but its very lethargic

Yes, same here (Durban area) been like this for days, its just slooooow and takes forever for anything to load. Seems like a latency thing or something. Something wrong somewhere in routing or a local exchange or something. With Openserve so perhaps as someone mentioned earlier, might be something wrong? Wondering how to ask openserve to check their side. Do we do that through Afrihost?

@AfriGuy @AfriFella - to cancel a fibre account (migrate to another ISP) do I just cancel via the Clientzone? Is that the only step needed for you to release the line on the 1st of June? (I'm on Octotel)

Something seems broken the last 10min or so but back now...

On what seems like another issue not sure if related. Cloudflare is acting up. Might be an Openserve issue because mybroadband.co.za is not served from JHB Cloudflare instead the traffic bounces around on a couple of SAIX/Openserve ips

Okay there is goes.... Cloudflare rerouted in International now from all regions in SA it seems.... :cautious:

I have a question...

why at night my speed is 10mbps and 20mbps during daytime? (for the last few days)

the speed is "sunlight" related? more sunlight will go faster? :p

any idea?

Something has gone seriously wrong. Not sure if Cloudfare, but certain international sites are inaccessible on Vumatel fibre. Had severe packet lost in CoD Warzone, and then battlenet died. Mybroadband loading super slow. But other sites seem ok. Very strange.

There is an issue with international transit atm it seems even cloudflare is struggling.

Seacom, Telkom, Openserve transit seems to be affected......

Why does it feel like WACS is down? All traffic to EU routing via EASSY Amsterdam

Things going wrong for me too. MyBB was inaccessible until a few seconds ago.

Well looks like WACS is fine. Tests Amazon London via their transit and it's low. Also look at once traffic lands in London on Afrihost it's fine. 166ms after that it goes haywire. Maybe an issue at LINX?
