Getting the same on MF...

Strangely wifi seems fine. But pc won't login to steam, discord etc and won't load speed test at all. "site can't be reached".

Exact same issues here. Started maybe +-30mins ago. Only website that's working without issues is MyBB

Speed test loads now but very slow... Maybe just a hiccup and things slowly coming back.

Our noc team is working on the issue. Apologies for the downtime.

Our night shift support team is flooded with call backs and emails. They are working through all the requests to get back to everyone asap.

Looks like we have lost a DNS server causing some issues. NOC is working on it and we are seeing things getting better however the backup server is taking a beating with requests.

Can this be why Middle East Fortnite Servers are suddenly 280ms instead of the 120ms of last week ?

This is a change on AWS side. It's affecting everyone not just Afrihost. It could be a temporary reroute from them not sure but we hand over traffic at JHB or CPT and they do the rest.

If you use Cloudflare Warp VPN then you would notice it doesn't change and route it takes is the same.
