What is driving the issue here? The issue has been pretty consistent the past few weeks and the fixes only last a couple of days.

I have logged this again and all the others and were informed it's related to the current ongoing emergency maintenance. I will update once I have more feedback.
 
Please excuse the double post but I didn't get any response in the "better free routers" thread and I'm sure someone around here should be able to help. Or would another forum be more appropriate?

Right, so I now have a Huawei AX3 router to go along with my old D-Link DSL-G2562DG Telkom router.
Two questions, if anybody knows offhand:-
- Which is the better router
- Can either of them be used as an extender/repeater?

I moved over to you guys last year sometime but didn't need the free router as I use a mikrotik. Is it too late to claim the free router ?
I needed to borrow one to diagnose if a connection problem was my router or not and realised it would be useful to have a spare.

You can claim the free router still.

Simply order it from clientzone.afrihost.com/order

The order checkout will show the full R999 amount but that will be discounted as soon as the order is placed. Send me a pm with the details so I can mark the router ready for processing. :)

90% of the issues I have experienced have been due to Frogfoot.

We are still seeing complaints about intermittent performance and working with FrogFoot to find a solution. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Hi,

The Huawei is a better router. It has wifi 6 capabilities.

I'm so familiar with the Telkom router but it should be a relatively good router too.

On the very final page that has the

I authorise Afrihost to draw the monthly amount against this account..... message shows full price + delivery as my "What you pay today"

Not sure if the R999 should have been taken off by then ?
Dropping you my details before I go and click it as maybe the offer was different back then.

Please do.

That is correct the order form will show that because it doesn't know that you might have credit available and assumes that you will pay for it. I will confirm your credit for you.
