Speaking to someone on FF in Vincent with the same problem at the moment. I'm in Beacon Bay.Not seeing any notices for slow speeds .
Only if I couldChange to Vuma =]
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can can share their speed tests with the Afrihost 1Gbps up and down package with a good router, cables etc? I am on Frogfoot and using an Asus RT-AC86U with nice CAT6 cables the best speed I have seen is ~500Mbs up and down. If that is the best speed achievable then I would likely downgrade to the 500/500 package.
Thanks!
Interesting:
I upgraded to 100/50 on Openserve this afternoon.
Clientzone shows upgrade is done but speed test shows 50/50 and even usenet downloads avg 55Mb/s.
Disconnected pppoe and reconnected with the same speeds.

Yes, I noticed yesterday already. quite oddWikipedia is slow, just a FYI.
Can anyone confirm?
Which is why I've added a 25/25 OS line and downgraded the ******** FF one. All WFH stuff is going thru the OS one (and there's 3 of us working) ..... and no downtime.... what a pleasurePing: 88ms

Edit: Feels normal now and much better than yesterday
Edit 20h46: Sluggish again. latency wise.
Think I will permanently switch to my Vodacom LTE for WFH. But my lappie connects to Fibre router first after every boot, probably have to 'forget' that network.Which is why I've added a 25/25 OS line and downgraded the ******** FF one.
