@AfriNatic turns out it was a non issue, thought it was related to the down time yesterday, my ONT box was accidentally switched off.

I'm back up and running. Thanks though.

Are there issues at the moment with Vuma trenched in JHB?
On Udemy and videos are veeerrry slow.

No general issue I'm aware of currently. Anything else feeling slow or having issues on the line?

Seems better now actually, was also having issues with Youtube at the time.

Edit : Seems might also be related to new web-monitoring tool work deployed :\

@AfriNatic Ping is a bit wonky tonight. Are there any issues at the moment with TTC?

Cloudflare is not announcing in JHB for a few days now not sure why that is but that is an issue on their side.

I do see that one hop on cogent is giving a bit of an issue but it's not affecting the destination so I would ignore it for now. Speeds and latency still seem fine.

CellC not releasing Fibre

Hey @AfriNatic

I'm a long time Afrihost customer.
I recently moved into a new house and according to the support people, they are waiting on CellC to release the line so that they can activate my Vuma service. IIts a 1GB/200MB line that I'm waiting on.
I've been in my house for a week now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Feedback will be provided as soon as the ISP has updated.

I have requested for urgent feedback and included the line release department manager in the query to expedite on our end.

My apologies for the delay encountered.

I recently moved into a new house and according to the support people, they are waiting on CellC to release the line so that they can activate my Vuma service. IIts a 1GB/200MB line that I'm waiting on.
I've been in my house for a week now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I did an upgrade on Openserv fibre to 500/250 last night, this morning the upgrade show as completed. I rebooted AX3 but only get 98/98. Do I have to reboot te ONT also ? Sorry about the dumb questions.

Morning,

Looks like Cellc is still active on the object. I have requested feedback from Vumatel again on the release of the line. Once i have feedback I will let you know.
