Hi,

I am able to re-produce this. It seems that PoneyTelecom/Online s.a.s is completely dead on our network not sure if it's intentional or just a routing issue.

I'm asking Noc to assist.
Thanks so much. They are with afrihost and axxess both have the same issue. They also reported being able to connect to the ip for like 10min or so then it drops again.


I am on Rain myself and its working 100% my side

We have logged a ticket with the vendor upstream and waiting for feedback.

My connection is screaming along at 500Mbps but Vimeo is buffering like crazy. Please optimise if you can Afrihost.

Hi,

I checked now and seems to stream fine. Looks like the CDn used is fastly and we peer with fastly in JHB.

This seems to happen sporadically, connection drops for about a minute at a time.

@AfriNatic Is there a problem with the internet in Richards bay again? Download speed is very low however upload has no issue.

Hi,

I don't see any notices from FrogFoot for Richards Bay or Empangeni currently. What issues are you facing? Is it just speed related or is latency and packetloss also a problem?

Okay can you please connect directly to the ethernet on the ONT and do 3 speedtests in the speedtest.net app and drop me a pm so I can log a ticket for you?

Hi,

Thanks for taking my call and assisting with the breakout test. As explained there is a client imacting network outage affecting clients on on the Watterbessie OLT. I'm waiting for frogfoot to log the outage reference and once I receive feedback I will provide the updates.

Anyone else down?

Afrihost / Openserve fibre.

Router syncs and pppoe connects fine. Almost every site appears down (still getting telegram messages though).

LTE (afrihost airmobile) works fine, using it to post this.

Tried reporting via Openserve app but apparently not down enough .
