Hi,

The issue is so much demand with no increase in capacity from google.

More and more people are getting fibre and in the beginning of May we shattered Google traffic levels with the highest peaks we have ever seen before. I would assume we are not the only ISP and other ISPs are also generating a fair amount of traffic.

We are eagerly awaiting the upgrades from Google to complete.

Anyone have problems with Amazon Prime Video in the evenings? During the day it works 100% fine. Around 7pm it fails to load and says there are "Internet Connectivity Problems". This happens on both my streaming devices, and it is only ever at night.

*Edit: Forgot to mention, other streaming services continue to work mostly fine (Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV+, BritBox, Showmax).

I don't have a prim account myself to test but did a q quick search on our tickets to see if there is any other complaints and did not see one.

What region are you and can you see what IP is serving the content and do a trace route to it?

I'm in Cape Town. I'll try get the IP and trace route (and pcap) tonight if I remember.

if i use express vpn and connect to south africa. no buffering occurs

We have logged more tickets with Google Noc to get updates on the issues experienced and what the way forward is.

I just turn WARP on when it buffers, don't even have to refresh youtube, it just starts playing after a few secs.

Can confirm the Amazon prime video issue but strangely only in my google chromecast tv, not on my phone

Something is up with the my line today. Ping is normally 5ms and the download speed is just gone down. Can confirm that I only have 1 device connected. Please assist.
