Nope.Fourth time this morning I am prompted to do the Fibre Activation.
Line has been active for years.
This was happening randomly a few months ago, then @AfriNatic somehow got it fixed
Anybody else have this issue?

Here's a more difficult question. On Openserve, if I run the ONT to a dumb switch, then two cables from the switch to two independant routers with separate PPPoE details, will both dial?
For now we are allowing it as long as the B number remain the same. We might limit this in future.
When you say we do you mean Afrihost or Openserve?
Do you mean it only works if its the same PPPoE?
What if it's different ISPs, such as CISP and Afrihost?
Openserve by default allow multiple pppoe sessions from multiple ISP's on the same line number. You can also have multiple lines on the same ONT.
Afrihost as an ISP doesn't allow you to use 1 pppoe account on multiple lines but you can dial multiple pppoe sessions on the same line with the same account.
Hey @AfriNatic,

Morning AfriNaticMorning,
There wasn't any general issues last night but your latency is concerning which might suggest an issue with the line. Has it recovered today?

tracert 1.1.1.1The latency is still very high.
What does a trace route to 1.1.1.1 look like if you can share one?

Was using the broadband one. Speedtest.net gives me same ping and DL speeds, but can't upload. Will download the app and retry. Starting to think I should try another PC to confirm this work laptop isn't the cause, but will only be back in an hour to do so.That looks fine. What speedtest servers did you try? Can you use the speedtest.net app and see if that offers different results?
Good morning
Can you please advise if this tracert to Youtube is correct. The latency to Netflix and 1.1.1.1 is much much lower and has fewer hops
