Hey @Afrigirl

I'm on the 25/10 OS package, but my speeds are 25/25. I'm not complaining, but technically also not right to keep it. (Unless OS is feeling gracious for some reason) :)

Edit, It looks like my MFN connection also did not downgrade properly.
I don't mind the free speeds, but it's not ethical

MFN has a 30 day downgrade/cancellation term for ISPs so the downgrade has been submitted. We usually cap the speeds on our side.

As for Openserve we can correct that also just drop @Afrigirl a message so we can have a look.

I'll drop a PM at 8:00 this morning for her. Also, why do you hate sleep?

Hi. Anyone know if there is an Openserve issue in the Waverley Pretoria area?

Sorry for the noise. A few minutes after typing the net was on again.

Hey

I only see a notice for Richards Bay. Can you drop myself and @Afrigirl a message so we can log a fault for you?

Actually Afrinatic it seems the fibre cable to the ONT got damaged think it was the domestic

So that’s why the internet went down

What’s the quickest way to resolve this

We will log a fault for infrastructure damage. It may take 24 to 72hours and Vuma may charge for the cable replacement.

I don't mind the free speeds, but it's not morally correct.

LoL, maybe they were upgrading the infrastructure… they do see everything. Hopefully they keep you longer on those 900Mbps speeds, that would be great.

Things I have noticed on my Openserve 100/100 line:
1. Ping spikes in local games of Dota 2... hitting 1900ms ping
2. Only getting 100Mbps down and 50Mbps up.
3. During loadshedding I get 10Mbps down and 3Mbps up.

Please can you drop myself and @Afrigirl a message so we can address the upload speed issue.

With regards to Dota we need some tests to see what causes the latency to spike.

Remember children... don't blame your ISP when it could be your Mikrotik queues causing issues.
