@AfriNatic

I hope someone can help me because support has been no help.

I placed a migration for my line on Monday. Yesterday I contacted afrihost support and they helped me activate the line. Great. But the line was running at my old speed.

So today I contacted Afrihost to enquire why the line was not syncing at full speed.

I was then told that the line I had opted to migrate was not in afrihost's control. But when trying to log a "receive ownership of the line", the support staff then told me they are unable to. Instead of a migration, a new installation was ordered by afrihost. This means my old B number has apparently disappeared (even though I am somehow already using afrihost on a line that was released, and then activated by afrihost.)

I am now being told Openserve will have to come out and activate a new circuit.

How did this stuffup happen in the first place and how do we rectify it in a timely fashion because it has now been nearly a week since the start.

Please can you drop me and @Afrigirl a message with your email so we can have a look.

If the B number wasn't in the holding pool it could be why we needed to place a new provide order for a new B number

Anyone went dead on international ? Tried to Speedtest to London and got the check your internet error but local speeds are fine

Edit : seems back

Looks like Openserve went down for about 20min in KZN.

All traffic is back to normal now. We are monitoring.

Anywhere I can check what’s the status of the fault as usually Vuma just comes here without notifying me so would like to make sure I’m at home
Hi, there are more clients affected in the area. Suspected outage to be confirmed.

Also would like to know what would be the best way to cancel pure fibre and move to pure LTE (Telkom 2TB) as Vuma have had too many outages in this area

Not Afrihosts fault but Vumas infrastructure here not as good as it was in the beginning with multi day or hour outages

Any outages reported in the Thornton are via Openserve. Multiple residents without internet on Openserve. Different ISPs

Hi

Please can you send me a pm with your email so I can have a look if an NF has been logged by Openserve?
