But damn close to 10 hours down and multiple downtime this month and previous month Vuma is dropping the ball

I see yes that’s true loving the ping lower than most I know
I’d like to ask as well if you know a way to get Openserve to install in our complex there is both Vuma and Openserve in the area

It’s no problem isn’t Afrihosts fault at all just Vuma who have been having issues in this area
Is there any reason these faults don’t appear in the Afrihost app ?

It's quite difficult. I believe Openserve make a call on whether they think it's feasible for them to also roll out.
I'm actually keen to get them to rollout in a family members complex too but I haven't been successful
We have to add these manually and we get a bunch of mails everyday.
We are working with Vumatel as there are some very nice webhooks being developed and our Dev team is working with the Vuma Dev team to see how we can automate these outage notices and SMS's

Wonder who to contact as they could even use the old Telkom ducts as the complex had a box installed years ago

So close but yet so far. Openserve won't install it unfortunately because the fibre in that DB is meant for the other premises.

My Afrihost telkom fixed LTE also just died about 15 mins ago in PE, probably related to the outage you are experiencing.
Saw a slight dip in traffic but didn't look like a widespread issue.
Looks like traffic is back now though?
The Openserve fibre stays up during load shedding. And it cut out before my group got the chop anyway. It’s fine now so I assume maybe some maintenance or a brief fault.
Yeah it was back on by the time I was getting up.
