Mount a Google GSUITE drive in windows and pay a monthly fee of R180 per month for unlimited drive storage then you realize that a 200/100Mbps line is slow...

It is indeed. They have not been enforcing the 1TB limit for years now and people are storing petabytes of data. Just read the data hoarder threads on reddit.

The only limitation on drive is excessive amounts of api calls which is not a problem with rclone correctly configured and a 750gb upload and 10tb downlpad limit per 24 hours.

On windows you need 4 thing's.

1. Gsuite business for $12
2. Rclone for windows
3. NSSM
4. Winfsp

That will allow you to mount a google drive. Give way more flexibility which is nice.

The super easy way to setup is simply using Google drive file stream which also mounts it as a drive.

Google has a JHB node so all the data moved to and from the drive goes via JHB and for me that is 4ms so very nice. So basically 10TB data usage a month is nothing if you use a mounted google drive.

But does all that data not sync to your local drive ? As I understand it you cannot map a drive directly to the cloud - only substitute your google drive as a drive letter an map it that way ?
 
Does anybody have a problem with the NTP not responding to requests for the date and time? My power tripped and when I switched it back on my TV's time did not get updated which meant YouTube etc refused to work. I had to manually update the time and date.

Just me?
 
I get 206ms to 'eu-central900.discord.gg' voice server.

What is everyone else getting? Seems high to me.
