Hey @AfriGuy

Any update on this? I have had no feedback from Afrihost in over a week?

Use Ticket: HYU-699-16406 to get my details and have someone call me tomorrow please. This has been going on for over a month now and we still not any closer to finding a solution.

I think I have been patient enough... don't you?

Restarting the fibre ONT + re-activating the line sometimes resolves the issues, but then it's back the next day/hour.

Your WhatsApp team logged a fault with Frogfoot, ref [FF #528556], on March 4th, but I haven't heard anything back.

Can you please assist, this is getting really irritating now.

Experience the same. When i last complained about it, they told me unless i could prove it was happening for 7 days in a row there was nothing they could do to help
 
I'm on a 100/100 line and I'm getting 7Mbps on fast.com.

I had better speeds on my saturated Telkom tower with LTE.

WTF?? Can't believe I'm forced to leave 40Mbps DSL for this. :rolleyes:

I'm also struggling the last 3 or so nights. In the day my net is fine but at night I get a 5mb speed from a 20mb line yet my upload seems fine always.

Keep getting kicked from games and when I ping google I get so many timeouts. Not sure why this is happening lately.

Just after 22:00 and all goes back to normal again.

Currently experiencing extremely degraded service on Vuma aerial Fibre. 1Mbps on a 1000Mbps service. This is absolutely useless. I just switched over to Afrihost from Cool Ideas this week and this is the service I get. Im thinking of cancelling before I pick up the router. Should have 7 days by CPA

I totally get where you coming from. I just wanted to highlight that the problem must be with their network somewhere.
I just wish Afriman would clarify where is the problem and how long to fix it.

I am on the same package in Lyttelton and for some reason I can never get 40Mbps download, have you ever? UsuALLY IT'S 35-38Mbps

If it is on OpenServe then it looks like afrihost's IPC is tabletopping.

Nope always in that range as well, but if I use Speedofme I had speeds over 40. But who knows how really reliable any of the speed tests are!
