Latency may be dependant on the DNS servers you're currently using. Please re-test your latency again once we've had the current DNS issues sorted out :)

For some reason Google DNS doesn't seem to work. Changed to OpenDNS now and connection is at least usable again.

We're implementing a solution to have the DNS issues resolved. Shouldn't be much longer now.

Is the Internet supposed to be dead for the moment that you are implementing?

We're still seeing issues with our DNS servers - so browsing and general internet use will be hampered. Our Engineers are implementing a fix at the moment though.

I've done more than 90Gb's now... and now my firewall's starting to pack up  :crying:

BLAH!!!

Nope, not DNS issues, hard drive (or component) issues...

rolled onto my backup account
good luck and sterkte guys

**** happens
now imagine if all ISPs gave away 1 gig accounts for free you guys could simply advise everybody to use that little bit of redundancy that the industry gives for a couple of hours while the magic gets worked. Anyway keep it less than 7 hours and the month still has 99% uptime - people seem to easily forget that you pretty much need a day downtime a month to start getting to below 97% uptime.

Cannot even establish a connection on my side :(.

You may want to try and use the following, alternative DNS servers until ours are all sorted.

Google DNS:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

OpenDNS.com:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

I have tried different DNS servers - inside the router control panel the connection status remains on "connecting".

Perhaps lets wait until our DNS clusters come back up, I'm sure it won't be much longer now. Is your account able to made a stable sync?

AfriGuy, under your Business DSL you have the Gold and Platinum Packages.
Now I assume these different levels have to do with data usage?
Also why is there no 4Mbps for the Platinum package?

Nothing to do with data usage - Just names they have given to the different product groups.
