Looks like IPC again

Another GP I couldn't watch last night. 200+ms pings from after the exchange onwards, along with intermittent packet loss. :(

Still following this thread after having switched to capped on AH. I would honestly switch. Sure you have to watch what you use, but having a line perform at max speed when I want is...priceless.

Is anyone else having PS4 multiplayer connection issues when using Unotelly DNS settings (Cape Town or JHB DNS)? When I change the DNS back to the usual Afrihost 196.7.7.7 or 196.7.8.9 then it works fine. Just asking as it was not happening 2 weeks ago? (First World Problems)

UnoTelly was having issues on CTN and JHB last night for some time.

Morning All!

Looks like there is a latency issue in the North that we're busy trying to sort out. I've seen a couple of reports coming in via Twitter and Facebook - haven't had a chance to read through if anyone is seeing the same here.

Will update as soon as I know more :(

Im getting the same swak performance on youtube, I thought the JHB IPC was fine ??

We saw an increase in latency for about 30 minutes around 17:30 on Friday - but it seems to have gone away on it's own. But there is a problem causing intermittent latency spikes and we're busy escalating this with MTN.

I was under the impression the whole Gauteng was fine, that only the Cape province suffered, oh well lol. But TBH I see on Mweb at work, on a really good line, there are also small problems regarding browsing and streaming, not as severe as with Afrihost, but they are there.

Yeah, this latency issue is localised to the North - not seeing the same in the Cape despite the heavy demand. It doesn't seem to be related to demand - becuase the North is shaped but performing within normal limits - so we'll need to keep digging until we figure out where it's coming from :(

That the problem. Most of the AH execs at 'zer top' have very fast internet and don't know that AH stutters like a boss on YouTube.

Actually all our management, including our directors, have regular DSL lines at their homes and we all use normal consumer Afrihost Capped or Uncapped accounts. So no special treatment - we experience what our clients experience.

I have been experiencing this on 4 of our ADSL lines in PE since last week. I logged a call and it was also escalated with MTN about last week TUE. Have not received any update yet.

Is it just me or does my connection just get slower by the day its not so zippy anymore it loads page like a 1meg line :(

Sorry to hear this :( Has our team given you any feedback as yet?
