Afrihost Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

Whats really sad is that I now have 4MB uncapped - and don't really have anything I want to download :(
 
Has anyone else just received an email from Gian? I just received this email from him.

I am sincerely sorry if you've had to wait longer
than usual to get help from us in the past few days.

We've been overwhelmed by the response to our
Uncapped ADSL launch earlier this week and as
such our support levels have not been up to the
usual high standards we strive for.

Our team of rockstars are all working flat out but
it is taking longer than we'd like to get to all the
phone calls and emails.

can to make sure that our service levels stay the
best in the country - We've always taken great
pride in delivering products that absolutely delight
and amaze and we're not going to stop now!


So what are we doing about it?

We are hiring 10 new Support Engineers and I
was hoping that you'd be able to help us find
the perfect support rockstars for our team.

what great is about having uncapped is the ability to not care if you gonna run out of cap before the middle of the month! hahaha. but yes, i have to agree, not much on the internet to download....
 
I've been having a terrible experience with skype video chat on afrihost uncapped today. On my network speed monitor it wont move up from 15kb... and the call quality meter is in deep orange and not green. Local and int. calls.

Are they shaping Skype during the day? I really couldn't care less about torrents and nzb what not.
 
What is the Afrihost server settings on altbins etc?
i was with mweb and it was news.mweb.co.za

what will the afrihost server settings be?

Argh... Why do we have to wait for the best things in life, first Just Cause 2, now this! Damn you Afrihost for providing us with a good service! :P
 
I wanna ask~ on these 4mb uncapped account,
are we allowed to download?
will they cancel our account if we dl avg 250GB? ;/
