Afrihost Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

Also Afrihost locks your uncapped account to one telephone number, as shown in the client zone. I use my uncapped at one of two locations (my express+) depending on where I am (only logged in at one site at a time in any case) but I cannot do that with the Afrihost account. So, even though the speeds are full 4Mb for me, I'll stick with my downgraded express+ account.

what has happened when you have tried to logon when you are at a site other than the one associated with your number?

Im having no issues. Only thing is I cant download with full speed during office hours on torrents. HTTP downloads max out during the day. My line has def no been throttled.

Edit. I realised that I am only downloading with 5-15kb from steam at all times. Not sure what up with that shiz.

Is Afrihost responding at all? (i.e. in a thread similiar to the MWEB Q&A one).

Guess we all test bunnies at the moment :wtf: hmm 30 mins to download a log file that's 28 meg....

Should the international speeds be this low? local are good, but international sux IMO..

Most IS networks have been ****ty ever since uncapped was released.
Torrents were crawling slowly yesterday, but today I got 400 KB/s on an international torrent.

Something has changed in the last hour.... 150kb/s seems to be my new average...

rapidshare is not shapped, so i can dl move at 430kb/s, but emlue is still dl'ing at 40kb/s, i guess rapidshare is <3

upgraded to uncapped 3 days ago.

4mbit line.

not once has any of my torrents gone over 150kb/s. they average at about 50kb/s in total.

just the day before i upgraded, the same torrents were going full even up to 420kb/s.

bs.

@afrihost: if things dont look as good as the mweb feedback posts by 5 days before the end of next month you're losing a customer. And to think you're planning to open up to 384k and 512k this coming week...

From looking at some of the feedback on MWeb the torrent are pretty much slow there as well. I think with all the ISP's out there torrents = fail!

Go usenet - far less problems.
