Afrihost vs Nexus BUFFERING

I downgraded my 5Gig Nexus to a 1Gig account and upgraded my 1Gig Afrihost account to 10Gig (Capped). I have a 4Mbps line.

I did this as there is a huge price difference:

Nexus:
10 Gig = R 405

Afrihost:
10 Gig = R 190

Ever since this move I've had buffering problems with:
Youtube...all videos load fully but some will only play up to 20 seconds and then won't budge. Afrihost gave a work around, min & maximise...this works.
Winamp...tracks constantly buffer

Advice?

I've found Afrihost doing that with Youtube quite a bit.
Telkom and FNB accounts seemed fine.

The youtube thing is a bit annoying but not a train smash (to me)

This is an issue I have found persisting on the IS backbone. Like Mantis says, not a train smash, but can be irritating.

Nexus uses MTN backbone (same as FNB) and sub of Hetzner...

Advice: Stay clear of ISP's that utilises IS' backbone, offer uncapped products and shape your connection.

Noticed this too!! As off yesterday. Been using Afrihost for about 8 months and this anomaly started occurring yesterday for me... Peculiar...
