Did anyone else get this?

I am a current Afrihost client. This morning I received an SMS from the CEO of Afriost asking me to rate their service.

But they addressed it to a Carole. My name is not Carole.

Afrihost, please investigate. Either a system bungle or identity fraud.

Gian, ffs stop harassing us. I have replied to your flippen SMS's three times already telling you it's a wrong number and still you thank me for my co-operation and should rate your service. I rate you now a 1 out of 10.

I am not Rosetta otherwise I would invite you for something else.

I got called Kabelo, thought maybe this was just a really inefficient phishing scam.

Got the SMS again and I am still not Carole.

Afrihost, please investigate, this is embarrassing.

I filed WASPA and ECTA complaints against Afrihost - they have sent unsolicited SMS twice over 4 days and seemingly brush it off as an "IT glitch" without a worry.

Afrihost you are complete Id10ts. Told you already five times I am not Rosetta but you come back again stating that you can't understand my problem, I should just rate you. The rating can't go below 0 unfortunately, so just f off.

Hey guys. :) Sorry about the delay in replying to this thread. We're aware that some clients received SMSes that might not have been addressed to them. First of all, I can assure you that is not a phishing scam. This is a survey currently being conducted by our directors and I can assure you that everything is legitimate and all above board. The name issue is an error that we were made aware of early on and are currently addressing with our partnered SMS provider. I believe that this only affected a specific group of clients and, as far as I know, the issue has been rectified and you won't be receiving any wrongly addressed messages anymore.

From our side, I would like to whole heartedly apologize if this alarmed or offended anyone, as it certainly wasn't our intention. :) I'd also like to encourage everyone who hasn't done so yet, to complete the survey with their rating as it really gives us a great insight into client sentiment and how we can work it into future products to make it great for everyone.
