With a month to go until the 1GB promo data runs out, is Afrihost going to do anything to retain the users?

Don't think so. Hope I am not hi-jacking the thread, where can one get a battery for the Zest?

I checked with Afrihost and was told the data for my sim expires end of July although the warranty is up. They said I can sign up for one of the packages before expiry on the same sim. After expiry you need a new sim.

Also off topic, has anyone found a reasonably priced dual sim phone running lollipop?

Thanks for the info. End of July? Where can I check?
How do you sign up on the same SIM? Can't see that option on the Website.

As for the Lollipop phone. I'm gonna hang-on 6 months or so. Lots of good phones coming our way.

You can do that on the clientzone, I sent a message from the clientzone and was phoned and told that. So the Afrihost service was good!

Thanks again. I got my months wrong. End of July it is. Excellent.

You can always upgrade your promotional data to a regular package. Remember that if you go for Afrihost Plus, you can also get double data and an extra free 500MB (on a separate SIM if you'd like as well)

Unfortunately we don't supply spares. Best to find Zest on Facebook and check with them who their authorised repair and spares partners are :)

How would I upgrade? Would I select the option to use existing MTN SIM card?

I got an email saying that unless I cancelled my Zest Promo 1GB they would carry on giving me 1GB, and charge me R58 a month.

PLEASE NOTE: We will automatically provide you with 1GB and bill you R58 per month from 1 August 2015 unless you click the 'Cancel my Service' button before 24 July 2015.

Just checked. Also got it. Poor show from Afrihost. Could have given us some kind of incentive to stay. Axxess?

The price of the Mobile One package is identical to the prices on offer by Axxess.

The monthly data was provided free of charge with the Zest when the device was purchased, I'm not sure what further incentive you want.

If you opt to keep using the Mobile Data, our system will automatically switch you over, you won't need to be issued with a new sim card.

How do you arrange a micro sim for this package? Is the easiest to cancel and order a new sim?
Or were is the best place to get sim cut?

The sim cards that were issued with the Zest originally should all either already be micro sim cards, or at least be breakable down to Micro Sim card size.

If this isn't the case we'll need to get you a new sim card, you can drop me a PM and I'll let you know what the easiest process is. :)

Just checked the sim isn't breakable to a microsim. I will wait for the the replacement phone and then order one. I also need to sort out my Vodacom sim.
