We have subscribed to Afrihost for a few months now.
Everything was OK until a week or two ago.
Their support was good and the service was good. Nothing to complain about.
Unfortunately at the end of November, we were forced to change bank accounts due to fraudulent use in the account.
We did make a once off payment to them, but they still deducted from the old account. Obviously the amount could not be deducted and Afrihost cut our service. We first had to pay the R 50.00 for the return of the Debit Order on the old account.
I did not understand why we should have paid the R 50.00, but we did pay it because we did not want to be cut off.
Since we were connected again, our connection has gone from bad to worse or should I say non existent.

This is definitely strange. If you are able to connect, then we should not be placing a restriction on the account. Can you please PM me (if you haven't already)?
If you changed banking details during the billing run, then we have already batched your payment against the account of file at time of billing (25th) and the change only takes effect in the new month. Unfortunately we have to charge a fee as we get penalised by the bank for failed payments, however we usually only charge fees on the second or third bounce, not usually on your first payment problem.
