Afrihost

I have signed up for the free account, but I do not see where the speed test is located.

I am so fed up, disappointed, frustrated with Ahost. I suspect that I am being throttled and only they and me know about it.
I do not get any feedback from them (1 e-mail a day) .....seems they are in hiding.
I wish I knew how to publish my speed tests world wide.
Maybe I must do A-La "Cell C Billboard" right in Rivonia next to Afrihost billboard.

What do you guys think? Or is it too harsh?

Just cancel and change ISP. No need to get upset.

Ja maybe it is the right way, although I am upset. Just do not know where to.
Seems like all providers is the same. :)

People have discouraged me from OpenWeb, maybe web Africa. I have sent them a support ticket...waiting to hear what they say.

Bye-Bye Afrihost..........Hello Webafrica.

Thanx for all the help everybody, just one last question.

Only one last question.....If I want ti insert an image, there is only the option of an URL. It does not allow to upload from the computer. Is there a setting to change?

Hahaha the turn of events from page 1 to here :p

To insert picture from computer:
View attachment 175205
View attachment 175207
Then click upload files. Use from URL if it is an internet site, just note that you have to click on the image link tab on speedtest and copy paste that into from URL.

Your first hop looks high, have you tried a different ISP account yet? Sign up for the free 2GB account from webafrica and post a speedtest and tracert from that account. It will help narrow down if it is the line/exchange or the ISP account.

Here you go

Strange guy, I am betting he will still have the problem, since with that first hop it is most likely line, which is why I asked him to check out a different ISP.

Yes you are right. it is line, but is it not their (the ISP's) responsibility to follow it up if you have a problem. My problem is not the fault. It actually is what is being done about it and the report back of it.
