Alcohol and nicotine.

Especially when 4 Kgs have just vanished somewhere. It's great. :D

That's what happens in the first week to a daily drinker. I'm expecting around 3 based on previous diets. It will settle to 1-2 a week now, which is still great.

Actually, I'm hungry all the time now, because I am eating less, but it's a healthy feeling hunger if that makes sense?

You actually look forward to the next meal and enjoy it more in my experience.

Absolutely. Previously, I was literally just eating for the transitory pleasure of munching something. Like, I'd make a snakwich, and make two instead of one, simply because it was a pleasure to eat. :erm:

Lol, I hate gym, its so static.

What are you eating though? Just salad or also chicken and fish?

I am eating anything I want, that doesn't contain wheat or sugar, which immediately eliminates like 3/4 of what I used to eat. :D

I'm also low-carbing to lose weight. Had great success in the 2002-3 doing this, lost 20kg... but then I fell off the wagon when I moved back to SA, into a house with kids, since there were always chips and chocolates and coke and all that other crap lying around and I am weak :P

Started at 112kg in October last year. I am now 104kg. Goal weight is 85.

BMI is a load of bull. According to the BMI scale, I need to weigh around 70kg (I'm 1.76kg). Last body test I had done, my lean mass was 73kg...

I agree BMI isn't the best but it does give a rough guide. It says I need to be 80-85 but I'm happy with 90. At 80 I'd look unhealthy.
