All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

Eish...

What you're saying is IF I go below the % in the SOC/V then top up with grid to keep me at that %.

You don't want to use grid, so you want those figures as low as you'll accept - in my case I leave them at 25% and ONLY tweak them if I know there's a substation or big loadshedding cycle (and I want my batteries to be full just in case (tm)).

Ok.... Almost like Ron's setup at 30%
Question ..... I guess the batteries will always charge from solar ? Or when will it charge from the grid ?
Only if the "Grid" or "Gen" is ticked, will it charge from Grid or Genny. Like @Stonemason setup.

Then just select zero export to load and you're good to go.
Can i piggy back off this please. My 8kw is split essential/non essential - how large a wiring job is it to put everything on essential?

Another noob question.
Can and where and what setting ? Battery is getting most of the solar to charge and only a little to the house. So grid keeps feeding. I want to change it around.... Plenty of time for the sun to charge the battery.

I'm not familiar with the Sunsynk menu (mine is Deye), but there should be a "priority load" option under system mode.

EDIT: From the image above it is under "System mode" -> "Screen 2"

Is your house priority load ? Or the battery ?
The options are priority load or priority battery. If "priority load" isn't ticked then it prioritises the battery.

EDIT: "Load" is the term for the essentials output of the inverter.

Don't always trust the app values. The app checks every 5min and you will notice that the values don't always match.(your installer can set it to 1min)
The app is great for a general guideline but I've found sometimes it will grab a value that spiked for very short period and then when I check on the lcd then everything is normal.
What did you end up setting your system mode timer to?

Edit: if I look at your old settings you posted and this mornings screenshot time, you want the batteries at 100% early on in the day.
So combining not having priority load checked and the timer setting, that's most likely why it's pushing all the solar to the battery.
I use priority battery instead of priority load but I allow my battery to be at about 50% throughout the day and it generally focuses on load vs battery automatically then.
Only before 5 do I have my battery set to 100% to get ready for evening

Thanks for the reply
I've set it to: Battery from 19:00 to 21:00 80% Then 30%. It reached 30% at about 11:30 (Looking at the app)
Aircon in the bedroom - Didn't know it orgasms from power consumption.

30% by 11.30pm?

Did your battery last the night?

Yesterdays graph from the app. Starting to save them all to compare. (And figure out)
