Yeah you will figure out what makes sense for your household and know what minimum % you are comfortable with at say 3am
We have a similar issue but luckily the aircons are inverter types so consumption once the room cools down is quite low. A 3rd battery will also cover me 100s. I also have an automation that runs the aircons for a limited time (15mins) each time and it shuts them down completely at midnightYep. Going to change that priority load. See how it goes. What's the inverter aircons power consumption ? Maybe i should look at taking the aircon from our bedroom and install it in the study where the inverter is - Then run it for "free" during the scorching heat of the day to cool of the units a little. Your are using way more grid power than needed. Select priority load on the system mode screen. Then it will power the base load first and only charge the batteries once there is excess solar available. You are losing out on 80% of your production. If you can set the SOC to less than 50% that will also help to get more out of your system but depends on what is needed to get you through loadshedding. From how quickly your battery charges and discharges it also looks odd, almost like only 1 battery is working or the inverter thinks there is only 1?Yesterdays graph from the app. Starting to save them all to compare. Spot on, that system mode screen controls the lowest level you want your batteries to be used to in those timeslots. Only have grid charge ticked if you want the grid to charge your batteries.once you understand your usage you may only need to use grid charge in exceptional circumstancesHi all, my solar installation was done today, I'm a total noob, so would like to learn a few things from the experts here. My inverter is a Deye model SUN-8KSG01LP-EU. The battery was charged to 100% at around 6pm, and then it used battery until it hit 95%, and then it started using grid again. Is it a setting that I can change, as I would like it to use more than just 5% of what is stored in the battery
Edit. I see my SOC setting for all hours was set to 95%, I guess that explains it, will change it to 50% for the evenings for a start

Not sure, I haven't changed battery settings since the installer set it up. But you will need to ensure that the values entered are correct for the batteries you have in terms of capacity, charge and discharge rate etc.Thanks. I did select priority mode yesterday afternoon. Will see today.

Looks like you are exporting power? Is this intensional?Hi guys, seen some good advise here and hoping someone can assist me with some settings I cannot get right. My installer was not at all helpful in providing some input here unfortunately.
We don't have load shedding in our area so my 10KW batteries are mainly used for night, no aircon or geysers running. Geyser runs on a sonoff device during the day (2kw) and a poolpump only during the day.
I use about 350 units a month still and cant seem to get it lower even though the below shows I am producing mroe than I consume.

Do you have anything on "non essential" or is everything on load?
Also make all the SOC\v values 20-25% if you don't have loadshedding.
I'll wait for more info on the first questions.
