8kw split over 3 phases would probably explain why it was discontinued, 12 kw a much better option.

House is 3 Phase we only need 5kw and 12kw is about R20k more than 8kwIve only ever seen the 12kw version.

The lowest SoC that I have seen during a 4-hour loadshedding stint was 54%, so I think I am safe starting at 80%.
