Definatly agree wit this one. Bought a force3d 4850 for R1940 and it would eat that 9600GT during break...For R1000 a 9600 would be a good card. For R2000 it's unthinkable. You should have gone online - there are plenty of retailers that stock it. I only go inside stores if I need random bits and bobs like thermal paste.
Here's a great deal on a q9550: http://forums.prophecy.co.za/f7/q9550-cpu-62164/![]()
Simple answer is yes, you have paid to much.
I disagree partly. He paid too much for the processor and graphics card - everything else was a fair price. The PSU was fairly priced, but underpowered.
Understatement of the year. I would be able to reduce the price by R500, fly to Durban, hire a car, personally drop the item at your door, stay in an hotel, buy a 3 course meal - and still make a profit ;-) Literally!
