Amobia

Ohh, I see. In that case, they can roll their offer out of here. Woulda been much better if it was a monthly rolling average of 100GB, as opposed to being 10GB per 3 days. Just the WoW client download + patches alone is close to 10 GB. One's internet data usage is not steady, some days you download a lot more than others. If they have to have a rolling average, then 3 days is much too short.

Bleh. Looks like I'll have to go with them after all (they might actually cover my area!!!) Not getting any joy out of SA Wireless (apparently they don't have stock, even though I informed them about my application early last month already!) Oh well, this is what voting with one's wallet is all about ;-)

I keep hearing about Amobias fantastic service, but they don't seem to be interested in contacting potential customers! I sent in the online questionnaire on the 16th of August, emailed and asked when I could expect a signal test, and have still heard nothing. because of the lack of comms, I wont be using them at my offices either, so thats a few more $$ they could have earned, but obviously don't need.

Why do so many companies spend so much on advertising, then dont follow up on potential customers?

I got quite speedy responses from a guy called Shane Love who works in sales @ amobia, if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately they don't cover my area. I'll pm you his email address.

I got a phone call yesterday, and the guys spent a few minutes on my roof, but unfortunately could not see their towers, hopefully soon they'll be able to put up more. Once they were here the service was fine, very nice guys doing the testing. for now I'll have to get used to being riped off by vodacom and mtn, very sad.
