I wonder if Mizzzzz Duarte makes remarks like these on purpose to upset people or just out of a lack of knowledge?
She seems to have a nasty streak.

Today, the definition of the term centre-right is necessarily broad and approximate because political terms have varying meanings in different countries. Parties of the centre-right generally support liberal democracy, capitalism, the market economy, private property rights, the existence of the welfare state in some form and opposition to socialism and communism. Such a definition generally includes political parties that base their ideology and policies upon conservatism and economic liberalism.
In politics, left-wing, leftist, and the Left are terms applied to positions that focus on gradual or radical progressivism and a more egalitarian distribution of wealth and privilege. Originally, during the French Revolution, left-wing referred to the seating arrangements in parliament; those who sat on the left opposed the traditional hierarchies and supported radical reform. In contemporary political discourse, the term the Left usually means either liberal or socialist.[1][2] The term is also used to describe social democracy[3] and most forms of anarchism.[4].
It shows you who leaves the country: all the right-wingers," ANC spokesperson Jessie Duarte said after the Independent Electoral Commission
After watching idiots vote for continued service and life degradation this year - I'm also revisiting the idea of leaving, and not looking back.
How can people see whats happening - and still vote for the party responsible, is just beyond me.

Left wing = Habana
Right wing = JP
most of them have had their lives changed by the ANC, ie grants, housing, freedom, etc. They also have hope that the ANC will do more in future since Rome wasn't built in a day, but you are right, it's beyond you.
