ANC slams 'right-wing' expats

I wonder if Mizzzzz Duarte makes remarks like these on purpose to upset people or just out of a lack of knowledge?

She seems to have a nasty streak.

After watching idiots vote for continued service and life degradation this year - I'm also revisiting the idea of leaving, and not looking back.

How can people see whats happening - and still vote for the party responsible, is just beyond me.

She's stupid anyway. No right winger would ever vote DA, they're too blatantly liberal.

most of them have had their lives changed by the ANC, ie grants, housing, freedom, etc. They also have hope that the ANC will do more in future since Rome wasn't built in a day, but you are right, it's beyond you.

YOU are these reason these people left South Africa and now YOU get upset when they don't vote for you? Do you not understand how racist your policies are, how hurtful to this country and how damaging in the world's view of this nation?

hmmm....considered emigrating to back to germany with the whole zuma saga so far, but my girl is a no go, and if I want to take her with that would implicate mariage..(still a scary thought to me). But she doesnt want to leave her family behind...and in a sense I cant imagine life without my weekly beers with my friends.And it took me ages to build my reputation (work wise) in Pretoria, and to start all over would be a big adaption. Guess I'll first wait for a while till stuff gets really bad before I consider the BIG move..sigh..sad

Personally I think it has more to do with the fact that they are at a loss for another party to vote for even though the ANC is not fulfilling their mandate and are not delivering all that they promised.

There are a lot of unhappy individuals about the way the ANC have run things (service delivery protests, regular strikes etc are testament to this), but when it comes time to hold people to account and possibly look to another party to fulfill that mandate, they cannot identify with any of the opposition so they continue to vote for who they know best.

+1 and i see now it's a case of rather the devil you know.
I tried before the elections to talk to people and see if they would not give someone else a change to give it a shot. Now the votes are in and we can only hope they see the liht in 5 years.

I mean if i get shotty produce from Checkers i'm going to try pick 'n pay. I have nothing to lose. But we'll get there by educating people.:D
