There are a few in the trailers and the actual series. But by this stage the Empire was very xenophobic and non-humans were second class citizens on most imperial worlds. Aliens were not allowed to serve in the military as an example (except for a few such as Thrawn who really impressed the Emperor) and were instead given menial labor intensive jobs. The rebel alliance had more aliens as everyone was equal, but Andor shows the very early stages of the rebels coming together so it would focus more on human characters as aliens would stick out very easily in any early operations.

Thank you for that, I actively avoided watching it so far because I thought they were too low budget to afford the aliens. Im glad there is more to the story and I was just wrong. Looking forward to watching this.

Still working my way through watching the bad guys win or get away in Clone Wars. Ill watch this next.

I finished watching the first season. Its decent scifi. I question some things. Like who are those tribal humans on the remote planet at the eye? How do we get human colonies abroad across the galaxy that now use spears as weapons? I do hope theyre given a bigger budget for season2 special effects and alien species.

Saying that, its a really good series, great storyline. Good acting and the special effects I did see were decent. Really enjoyed this series and cant wait for the next season.

The Dhanis? It was basically explained in the series that they chose to live a simple life and worship their Gods. Sort of like the Amish people in the US.

I was wondering about that. We became civilized and spacefaring. So much so we spread across an entire galaxy, and we have people with wooden spears. I couldnt understand that. At least there is decent backstory in the lore to explain them.
