I haven't changed anything. It picks up my xbmc server automatically. Streams sd fine. Funny have any full hd to test. Did you try increasing the buffer it try bubble upnp, it's free.

I maxed out the buffer, still the same. Most of my content is HD. Will try unpnp and see if that makes a difference.
 
Have you tried Rock player,I find it the best at streaming used with ES file Explorer
 
For streaming I just use Plex.
And it keeps my collection in sync with the rest of the house.
And I can beam the content to other devices in the house.
 
I tried the free version of VPlayer first to make sure its ok before buying. It's terrible. Both Meridian and the default player that comes with the rom work better (using Desire HD with a rom that includes sense)

I managed to hack the money on the latest version. Still trying to hack the gold though. I was also able to save and restore my profile online with the hacked money amount.

Edit: Managed to hack my xp as well. Really like the new online backup feature.

Update: Hacked the chips and gold as well.
