Android app bargains thread.

WOW, was going to buy Temple Run Brave as the kids love Temple run but 3 stars and very negative reviews means, no ways.

This is what I am doing. Unfortunately I do not know of a way to transfer paid apps from one account to the other.

Dark knight has IAP and from the reviews you can not finish without it. I do not mind IAP but double dipping is just wrong I tell you.

Quite legit, it is a service of EasyPay (google them,turn over your telkom bill, they are all over the place). You EFT some $$$ over to them. Same-bank efts gets picked electronically up within ~10 minutes 24/7/366, you receive an sms and your account gets credited. You can then fire up your vcpay app (android/iphone/blackberry) and generate your own virtual credit card(s). You will now receive a sms for any amounts charged to the card. You also get a few percentage points back for your monthly spend at some stage. All of this being fee-less of course.

I've done quite a few EFTs and had this happen with only 1 of them some time ago - they had a problem with their interface to ABSA. After getting my proof of payment my account was loaded promptly.

not sure if it requires 4.0 or if its the res?

Just note that Bluestacs is Gingerbread based so if the app forces 4.0 checks then you are at a loss, but if its just a Tablet app(Resolution check) it works like a dream.

I'm just mucking about with BlueStacks now for the first time. Do you guys use your regular account on it or create a new one? I'm just a bit wary of going through a 3rd party app to access my regular account what with my card details on it etc.

Well that is the same as using custom ROM's is it not? As for security you should be using 2 step authentication anyway, then it would not make any difference.

Is today or tonight the last day of the sale?
Pity the sale was so short (Compared to End of summer Sale)
