Finally, something interesting.

I don't believe so. The app has to be android auto compatible and I don't think YouTube is. But there are workarounds, apparently. Not that I've tested any.Quick question: Can one listen to Youtube videos with Android Auto?

the best upgrade to apple carplay was when they allowed you to use google maps
Anyone here can recommend a best double din apple carplay/android auto head unit is SA?
Interesting. Natively Waze on Car Play doesn't have speed warnings.Funny that I abhor Google Maps on CarPlay.
In fact I do a bit of a hack and run Apple Maps on top of Waze.
That way I get the nice clean interface of Apple Maps that actually works (so long as Apple Maps has an accurate destination) and then I get speed and camera warnings and a second opinion from Waze.
Apple Maps has been more and more reliable.

This is what mine looks like - no speed limits even though it's supposedly set to always show them.

Yep. All on.
On the phone it shows, on carplay it doesn't on mineVery interesting.
Only reason I could have thought there would be such a difference is if the car fed the information to the phone but that makes no sense at all.
