Sony Electronics has unveiled its latest AX5550D and AX3500 in-car media receivers.
The new displays are designed to provide a safer and smarter driving experience for South African road users, combining improved touchscreen technology, class-leading build quality, and added convenience to make being on the road as enjoyable as possible.
The AX5550D and AX3500 will enable road users to navigate, communicate and play music without ever having to take their hands off the wheel, for a safer driving experience.

The new AX5550D provides a hands-free driving experience, ensuring drivers stay focused on the road while connected to their devices. The new in-car receiver features an innovative safety design that limits distractions with lighter touch operation and improved visibility. Additionally, Sony’s new media receiver offers comprehensive smartphone connectivity, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and WebLink Cast.
