Android smoothness vs iOS

I loaded Darky's ROM v9.3 yesterday on my SGS. Definately runs differently and something are smoother. I look forward to Gingerbread as well.
 
My samsung Galaxy only skip a heartbeat when it is plugged in and charging. Otherwise smooth. Flashed with Darky's ROM ages ago.
