Well, by then the company would already be split up and sold. Units that were not sold will be closed down. So, if BBM will still exist by then it might under another company and will probably not be free anymore.

To be honest if I had access to say how to monetize that division I would make the app free and release on all major OS's but charge for Emoticon packs. Have the default and so on but add $0.99 with different themes Like say Extended pack with more or GTAV pack, or Zombi pack and so on.

WhatsApp Plus could do themes and more, but I see that the Plus threads (XDA) was removed by copyright… Anyway, strange since I thought that they acknowledged the developer…
