Seeing as I've been updating my ignore list today I might as well add one more .

One claim too many on the company credit card. :D

If he was a crook or incompetent he should go.
BUT the laughable speculation that things are falling apart is not suprising.
I just dont think some can comprehend the tremendous amount of work taking place in each of the host cities. People working 24/7 on various aspects of hosting the event to the very last detail.

Each time there is a setback its bye bye 2010. The journey was never going to be easy in South Africa. We aren't immune to in-fighting or rising costs of building materials or even labour strikes.

Heck France 98 had their public transport sector strike the day before the world cup started. London 2012 is already sitting with a R150 billion cost of hosting the olympic Games. Germany even completed two stadia in the year of the world cup. Sydney 2000 has its fair share of in-fighting yet it staged the best Olympic Games ever.

Its really immature to jump on some bandwagon each time incompetent people are fired or caught. We complain if they don't get exposed and we complain if they do.

Disagree, If there was no bandwagon, then these folk would not get found out. Complain, bitch and moan, its our right and duty to do so. You let them get away with it, and it's your fault that they did, you did not thing to stop them. Not even raise your voice to complain.
