I believe I'm being more realistic than positive.
Its fact that our transport systems even with the improvements might not cope, its also fact that 2 or 3 stadia face sustainbility issues. But the reality is also that many projects would not have seen the light of day without 2010.
2010 is a journey rather than a destination, challenges and obstacles should be embraced rather than used as some hope for failure. south africa is a terrible complicated country, so its no surprise that the road to 2010 would be no different.
Absolutely......this is how we progress, it is how other countries have progressed, 2010 is a stepping stone. Sure, it might be overly expensive, Sure, it might not be profitable......but it has forced the tech sector to wake up on HD, BROADBAND and INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIVITY. Who benifits....you do! (after everyone has taken their cut).
Be positive about 2010, you cant be worse off that you already are!
anybody would be naive to believe they would happen before 2015 without this world cup.
Indeed!
ROFLBEE Afraid. BEE Very Afraid.

The biggest concern I have is that many people are looking at 2010 as a "miracle cure" that might get these lazy politicians to get of their bums and actually do something for the people.
When this doesn't happen, It may well result in a major post 2010 migration out of SA.
Sies man, don't abuse the saying unless you do it correctly:
