If anyone wondered why WA allowed a grace period of yet another month to their resellers getting onto the new Cost structure, the answer is very simple.

This way thay can still rip the reseller off by charging them 20cents per MB in overages. This is a blatent rip off.

Wonder how other resellers feel about this. And yes, we are moving all our Domains away from them. Just takes a while due to the total absense of assistance from WA. I suppose the interest in Service is deffinately no longer there.

Utterly false and incorrect. This decision was made after countless resellers requested additional time to prepare for the change. Unfortunately in this instance we cannot please everyone but are doing our best to balance everything, however interesting that you choose to immediately extract a false and negative statement in yet another attempt to take a shot at us:

What is your goal here exactly MVG, one might begin to question your motives?

Our interest in service very much exists, yet another ridiculous statement - we have open forums and always give our all to ensuring constant customer satisfaction.

There is no motive here at all. Just tired of getting ripped off by you guys. All you guys ever tend to do is to try and divert attentention elsewhere and lay the blame elsewhere. Your own CEO admitted months ago that the resellers are being shafted on the overages. This would have been the least you could have done is to adjust the overages charges whilst everything else is being relooked at. If you look at the posts on your own forums, it seems very clear that you do not have many happy resellers at the moment and bans are on the daily agenda as they express their issues under a closed reseller forum I may add. It seems that only WA friendly posts are allowed nowadays.

You guys gave the resellers absolutely no choice but to throw more money at you. It takes time to move domains around and in the meantime they carry on eating bandwidth. Strangely enough, WA never gave me an answer as to why a certain Domain chewed Gig's of bandwidth whilst under our reseller account and then stopped using these horrific amounts of bandwidth when we moved it to a dedicated package. The service related comment of mine relates to you guys not accepting Domain transfer tickets or just plainly ignoring them.

I can send you copies of "My appologies" emails received from your support staff when questioned. Why does one have to resort to threats just to get good service from someone that is being paid for this service to be delivered.

This is ADSL and ISP related last time I looked ;)

ADSL and 'Internet service provider' discussion, hosting does not falling into this category even if the company does provide this as a service too. You can gripe all you want but please keep it to the correct forum section.

On a side note, if I go to a store and I do not like the price, I am not forced at gun point to buy it. I simply walk away. I don't go a kick up a storm about it because I know I can get it cheaper else where. If you have a problem with the prices WA charge move. They are not forcing you to stay with them. They have a very loose 1 month contract enabling you to do this. Stop moaning and leave them already.

You must have studied their T&C's closely to know what kind of contracts they have. Also, as you correctly mentioned, one should keep to the relevant category on this forum, my appologies but I don't see shopping as a category here either.

I presume that you got some of your post totals from repremanding others talking about hosting on this forum? Shucks, I should have deleted this but my backspace key is missing.

Don't worry, the trees are safe, don't think that I will be printing your posts soon :D

Yes, my highly excessive 1.09 posts per day are all about reprimanding... Out of your 29 posts, 22 are on negative or moaning posts. You come here to make a stink and you do it in a low ratty fashion that reeks of some hidden agenda against WA. Lighten up man, you seriously need to start seeing some good things in life instead of all this whinging and moaning.

James, if you don't like "whinging and moaning" you're in the wrong forum.

Why is it that other ISP's can be criticized here, but whenever anyone criticizes WebAfrica, the complainer must have a "hidden agenda"? Ridiculous tin hat mentality.

+1

James, I'll do one of those double posts like you did to see how it feels.

For starters, people join Forums if they have something to say. We all start somewhere and unfortunately I had something negative to say. However, it is very nice for others to be able to read about negative and positive experiences with ISP's so that they can then choose which way they would like to go.

Let me tell you on a lighter note, that I have many good things in life other than whinging and moaning. Maybe you would also if you look between the lines in your 1.09 posts per day.

At least you pay attention, which is good… as you read all my posts in detail just to retaliate on whatever you are retaliating on.

Now I hope that you have a good evening, post relevant ADSL related Information here and that WA does not take away your free whatever they gave you.

By the way. Double posting does nothing for me…just because I forgot something …
