Anybody need a laptop?

Where would you find a laptop with these specs for better than R2500? :/ Are we bidding on someone's girlfriend or is the girlfriend the payment for something? :D

I need a spare laptop, my dogs keep breaking mine :(
After they chewed and knocked down Acer netbook, the ADD labrador got entangled in the vaios charger and sent the laptop for a 5 metre flight....screen sad to say, did not survive!

bummer :/ I still say R2500 is a good price for this laptop

Now the laptop isn't available anymore, so we get R500 off nothing :/

My order didn't go through at all :( Is anybody not wanting to take the laptop at R2500? I'll take it off your hands...

I want the laptop as well, it's a great price but they gave R500 off and now they took it off their site :/

I'd say it decreases the value by R1000 since there will be a lot of scratches on the cover of the laptop from me trying to remove it :D

Scratch my offer. I'm still going to take one at R2.5k. Have emailed the customer services manager (the one that sent 'the email'). Hope she can sort me out with the promised consolation: the same laptop at R2.5k.

I understand people make mistakes. Was too much to hope for to get it at advertised price. Even printed adverts carry the E&OE disclaimer (errors and omissions excepted, I think). They did not have to offer us the R500 as their fineprint offers protection against these kinds of mistakes. They have though- makes me feel better about getting the run-around. Thanks Kalahari!

Any problems this time round, and I'll really throw my toys... For now, I'm hoping all goes well.

Ja making a mistake is one thing, then offering R500 off of a product they take off their catalogue is just plain sucky!

Let me know what they say please cause I want this friggin laptop!

Quite fun reading all the comments from the beggars, sorry freeloaders, um... cheapskates, oops, I meant customers on here desperate for some freebies and handouts! Probably these same people who spend days on end in other threads talking about the fact that too many of "those people" in this country exhibit a sense of entitlement and expect to be given things.... :D

Well. since a promise was made by a company, and since we will pay for the laptops with actual money, I think you are wrong. Plus if you have then ever bought anything on sale, you are a hypocrite :D

How much effort do you put into being a complete and utter tw@t? Or is this the only place you have the balls to be a git without getting your head smashed in?

Greasemonkey.

HAHAHAHAHA:D That message was filled with pure awesomeness :D

Actually I fail to see where the promise was made. Further to that a read of their T&Cs will show that they are not even obligated to offer the discount they have.

Errors:

Kalahari shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately indicate prices and delivery charges. However, should products be erroneously offered at incorrect prices and/or delivery charges, Kalahari will not be obliged to sell products at such incorrect prices and/or delivery charges and shall only be liable to refund monies paid should you not wish to proceed with the purchase at the correct price and/or delivery charge.

And me buying something on sale is different to me insisting that a company be held to a price which was clearly an error. You have people "threatening" to stop buying from Kalahari (whoopee doo, I'm sure they are quivering!), and others.

R2500 is still a great price! If any of those who ordered plenty based purely on the price, which we all knew must have been wrong to start with, then feel free to sell me one.
