Apple iPad 2 launched

lol cmyplay, I think you missed my meaning there dude. "Hard truths" was referencing you specifically in regards to my impression of your online forum persona. Not my post made 3 pages prior. :)

But here are my v.quik.reps.

A) dealt with above
B) I've seen enough, watched enough and read enough to make this a qualified impression.
C) Uh, no that's not what I meant... apple has built a fantastic brand. Marketing is awesome. Everyone knows them. Majority love them. 15 millions ipad sales.
D) Form never beats function. And that statement of their OS beating all others was taken from the apple site.
E) Seems a pretty straight forward statement.
F) Yip, love android. Was an avid apple user. Stated many times that I would buy an ipad if it was cheaper than the android tab I'm waiting for.
G) Ok, you got me. I have a real problem with those short-cut-too-tight-jeans-weirdos with their no socks and silly dayglo-bright-shoes with the plunging-v-ripped-torn-vintage-shirt-wayfarers-wearing-fedora-loving-organic-food-eating new age hippies. Their tattoos generally suck as well.

Its the single chink in my armour. I can't help myself. :(

hahaha I swear android fanboys here are the smartest people that every existed on the face of the planet. Seems to me that android supporters know absolutely everything about everything hey, and literally EVERYONE else are ignorant, uninformed idiots...?
Sounds like brain cells come included with the packaging of an android device...?

I'm not a fanboy of anything, and I'll give credit to any device if it is a good quality device.
But man, I really think a person must be a HUGE idiot to believe that they possess every little piece of knowledge there is. Talk about being ignorant and uninformed...

in a way, android guys really sound kinda jealous of apple, if you ask me.
Jealous that there weren't mainstream Android smartphones on the market before iphone, or that there weren't android tablets before ipad.
I mean, if you don't like Apple, DON'T BUY IT....? why wet your pants and resort to insults like a 6 year old everytime the word Apple is mentioned somewhere

The world is not black & white. Just because someone has an issue with apple doesn't make them an android fanboy. Hell I've never even used an android handset & still think some of the things apple does is mighty sketchy.
 
iOS 4.3 makes big leaps in Javascript performance.

iPad on 4.2.1 speed running Sunspider: ~8000ms
iPad on 4.3 running Sunspider: ~3000ms
iPad 2 on 4.3 speed: ~2000ms

The test isn't necessarily multithreaded, which is why the iPad 2 isn't 2x as fast.

I would say that a majority of the people insulting apple supporters, saying that they make uninformed decisions to invest in the iOS platform, are in fact android supporters. Countless examples of incedents on this forum can be made.

And i would rather say that these people that are insultig apple supporters should realise that the world isn't black and white. They're the ones that insult others because of their personal taste and decision to support the platform they find more useful or satisfying.
In other words, they're being childish.
 
I wish Apple would push the envelope more with the iOS, maybe an overhall for iOS 5? Wouldn't count on it though.
Still desperately want one with a smart cover!
 
iOS 5 will get previewed in less than a month's time, judging by the usual Apple routine.

I was actually thinking about this just last night. We'll probably sometime in the future end up using the same operating system on mac and iDevices. They might have different names, but i think they'll look almost identical eventually seeing as Apple is already starting to bring in iOS features to OSX
