Ive see over time that the samsung galaxy tabs(Android based) have slowed down after adding alot of widgets and applications onto it
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Aaah Dolby, even though I haven't shared a similar thread to you for a while, your posts are still around the same thing... everything you hate about Apple.I'm just saying I'd hate to spend the money to find an issue, after I get rid of my primary PC
Software developers developing for both platforms have told me to keep a PC on hand, as I'll be sorry .... and seeing the iPad issues, I am a little worried about solely relying on Apple
Anything slows down with too much crap; the galaxy tab was IMO always the donkey in the derbyIve see over time that the samsung galaxy tabs(Android based) have slowed down after adding alot of widgets and applications onto it

Don't think I will until they update it to at least 2005 specs
EDIT : Sad that one can't mention any flaws of the product without the Apple fans exploding into pure rage. I think it'll be a great world one day when we can say list an Apple product pros and cons
Dolby, you should know by now, that you're stretching things a little too far... The point is if you are comfortable with Windows and desire all things Android, then we find it a little strange that you stay with tech that quite clearly has been a disappointment for you...Don't think I will until they update it to at least 2005 specs

I respect open and reasonable discussions; but that does mean you're not always going to tend to lean one way...
It's endlessly baffling to me. If I was him I would have swapped my iPad a loooong time ago, migrated to Android forum and been forever happy.
I like Dolby, but he's a broken record when it comes to Apple. And he likes it. No amount of effort, advice or reasoning makes a difference. Hence a troll. Or rather An Apple Troll.![]()
Problem is we keep feeding them...
And they are extraordinarily good at feeding themselves...

Dude, I dont even think Android users are that bad... well most of em.
So you welcome to keep him in your ecosystem TYVM![]()
No need, opposing views are always welcome... just also on the occasion share a few of the things you like (negativity tends to beget further negativity).I went through the thread and I really couldn't see anything that should cause people to get all upset :/
I countered the comment that 'Android has totally failed to respond to the iPad on both hardware and software' ... I pointed out the great marketing that Apple have .... I pointed out iTunes isn't the best software out (quite horrible IMO) ... And I mentioned I'd be worried about sending R20,000 on a Mac based on the limitations of the iPad
Maybe we should have rules in this subsection?
I understand ...
I thought perhaps the part that I use my iPad continuously many, many hours per day may show there are parts I like. I don't sleep unless it's next to me and it's the first thing I grab when I wake in the morning. It's also made my Blackberry useless and the only thing I use nowadays is the mail.
My App World logo disappeared about 3 months back and ... um ... I don't care as the iPad covers what I need 10x better than the BB
Guess you missed it; kind of sad when you feed yourself...Gee Dolby, there you go, feeding them again...
