Remember he is just a rep, he is not one of the MAIN guys at the top discussing these things....i'm sure they are keeping it under wraps for a reason though....or even worse - they really DON'T know :D

if it's close to R1500($199) i'll get it.
if it's close to R3000($400) i'll get it. (2x the price)
if it's close to R4500($600) i'll probably still get it. (3x the price)
if it's close to R6000($800) i won't get it. (4x the price)
if it's close to R7500($1000) i wont get it. (5x the price!)

Keeper : V3G is just a rep, but he also is one of the main guys at VC afaik, or at least talks to them a HELL of a lot...

Yip, R5000 and below I will probably get it. That's without any contracts.
 
Just phoned Vodacom Hatfield Plaza and they say the general word from above is that it's arriving in the next few weeks.

I never knew V3G has boardmeetings with apple and gets to decide whether or not SA get's the iPhone...

he doesn't even know when they will be arriving so...

But if U say he is one of the "Main" guys, I guess Reps have more REP these days....(Pun intended)

Official Vodafone prices on prepaid is.....
$979 for the 8GB
$1129 for the 16GB
Im a Vodafone rep!

steve's mouth said it's $199, and my ears heard $199 - I don't understand why my Wallet has to pay $1000...
 
JK8 : It does help if you let people know that those prices you quoted are based on NZ$ and are ONLY applicable to NZ since Vodafone Italy have a different pricing structure altogether...

Therefore for the 16GB one, the prepaid price would equate to roughly R6600.
