Apple's products are good, make no mistake. Their OS is probably the best desktop one around, a true end-user Unix. And Steve Jobs is an unique and gifted individual.

But the near religious aura around the whole company does get a bit much sometimes.....:rolleyes:

I listened to the 3G iPhone's launch the other day. Your average TV Evangelist would have been very envious of the crowd that day. I think some of the audience actually typed in tongues on their MacBooks.

But I would love to see them release OSX to the wider PC community. It would break that gleaming white spell and us mere mortals can then actually use the products without having to develop a snooty attitude! :)

The title of this thread is misleading. Mods please add "in all other countries" to the title...
