Thanks but what would happen if i used Amazon and delivered it to my South Africa address?
 
I pretended to order on Amazon. Estimated delivery to Cape Town Feb 26th - March 2nd.
Sounds like they are either using a dedicated courier cargo aircraft - or a fast ship.
Go for it, as I can tell you that Aramex / DHL etc. won't help you.

In the past i got my goods with UPS using Amazon .Will check their policy out

If Amazon say they will deliver, they will deliver. I know they use Aramex for deliveries as that is their preferred courier in South Africa at the moment, but whoever it is will make a plan.
Maybe it will be like the JBL bluetooth speakers I love ordering and selling - shipment to Dubai as hazardous cargo, and from there shipment to JHB.
 
Yip I've had extended batteries (when Android phones still had mostly removable batteries) ordered from Amazon before.
 
I just need some peace of mind.

Is it worth using AGS to bring in 2 phones from Hong Kong? How does the insurance work?
 
From Hong Kong currently taking more than a week to get here. Might even take longer with the Chinese New Year coming up, but not sure.

I haven't used insurance.

Yes it got shipped fairly quickly. I just don't understand why the airplane is now taking more than 7 days to get to SA....

Unless it has been lying on a pile somewhere for the past 5 days, waiting to be scanned locally..

Hi. Why did you send it all the way to Dubai. Why not use the NY address?
