Has anyone bought in a wifi tablet? I guess it would fall under computers as it has no phone capability.
Anyone? How was the duty?

Are AGS still very tough on batteries? I see people here shipping smartphones and tablets so I am guessing not... I want to ship some of these Ikea smartblinds (https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/fyrtur-block-out-roller-blind-wireless-battery-operated-grey-30408173/), think I will have any trouble? Also does anyone have any clue what customs would be, no idea how they would classify this one but I also have no idea what customs normal blinds would attract.. :)

Thanks.
Perhaps you can ask the supplier not to include the rechargeable battery in the sale as it is a present you wish to immediately send abroad?
If they ignore you, Aramex will probably send your shipment via the Middle East, as they do all hazardous shipments.

For shipments where it requires someone to sign, will AGS work?

In other words, does someone collect the parcel at the delivery address or is it dropped off into a postbox/something like a postbox?

Yeah, they sign for parcel. I got proof of delivery from Hermes UK. (courier).

I just had a Chinese supplier say Yuantong Express cannot deliver to Shanghai Origin. I have asked AGS for clarification.
Anyone here have anything successfully delivered this week?

AGS says that both Shanghai and Hong Kong Origins are closed. I have asked what origins are open in Asia. I will let you know.

Kindly refer below update on China stations for your reference:
- Shanghai is closed (with missing staff).
- Domestic transportation remains very limited, especially between cities and Provinces. (most of the highways are blocked).
Most of the factories are still closed, as well as most of our franchisees.
Our Hong Kong Hub is open with very limited staff, expect delays.
Best Regards

AGS should consult with Aramex, as a temporary solution, as there are two other offices and two branches in China. I've bought from a supplier that uses Aramex as one of their shipping options and it took less than a day for Shenzhen branch to check it in.

Hi there,

anyone with experience please help... I've ordered a 10kg box of supplies from Hong Kong which has been detained by customs for a port health inspection. Apparently my consignment requires relabeling to go through clearance. Has this happened to anyone else and how much did you end up paying?

Did AGS not tell you which fees are payable/what options you have available to you?

They mentioned that the relabeling costs would be anywhere between 500 to 1500 zar... hoping its not too much because customs and shipping was already hefty. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else, and if anyone knows what the labeling reqs are
