Aramex global shopper

Yeah agree hey, although they did put a fragile sticker on hey.Yes AGS protect was ticked. Still waiting for the reason why - Will keep you guys posted on the resolution. Also always make sure your packages have a fragile sticker on or you cannot claim from AGS protect.
I would contact the supplier and ask for a refund. It is totally their fault. Problem now is the huge delay. Say you were repatriated from South Africa and only arrived home now or something.

You are blaming a store because a courier broke something during delivery.
The blame is on the shipping company
I think the issue of rape inappropriate.

As for package. A fragile sticker not enough. Unless the tube adequate or quite solid, its for a shipper to package item adequately.

Agreed
As for that tube? It is great for shipping documents.
A fishing rod should be in a rigid container, not something that will unravel should it get wet.
Pack correctly or bear the cost of replacing whatever you dispatched. That's how I run my business.

Keeping this back on track...

My 2nd Amazon Echo Dot has just been delivered to New York today. I expect delivery end August.

Hey guys just a warning, i had a package sent from UK took 6 weeks and when it arrived it was damaged. When i tried to claim from AGS South Africa they keep declining it and saying it's not their fault and i must claim from where i bought it... R 5k down the drain. Will start look at another company for freight forwarding.Oh and i am a Flex customer means nadda.
Ouch, what rod was that out of interest sake?

Hi, I'm new to AGS. Unsuccessfully tried to order a laptop from Dell USA. Couple questions..
* That tax was a nasty surprise, guess no way around that?
* Shrugged it off, but they wouldn't accept Paypal as not registered in US. Any other payment methods available, if not which other major retailers don't work with AGS?
* I made billing & street address same as I'm sure they wouldn't accept SA postal address, should this normally be the case?

Surely there is a photo of.it being received at the UK site? It's pretty cut and dry with the controller in place.

The digits on your card immediately tell a seller you're South African. Making the billing address the same as the AGS address won't help with a savvy blue-chip company. They know where you live.

Thanks Dee, makes sense I guess: companies wanting to protect their overseas markets will implement these measures.

Aramex NY had just acknowledged a delivery.
It seems as if New York is back to efficient receiving of parcels. Now to see how long it takes to get to Dubai.

My shipment is now at JHB. Value is a nice rounded USD50 on my account, however the real value is much higher. I uploaded the Invoice as soon as I got the package in my account. Wil they update the value, or can I also expect an inspection...

The $50 is a guesstimate until they receive your uploaded invoice. After that they work only on your invoice amount.
