Aramex global shopper

Anyone purchased products from Apple , Hong Kong

I'm trying to ever the Aramex adress on the Apple HK site.

There however seems to be a character limit when adding the Aramex Global Adress

Is there some kind of workaround this issue ?
 
Hi everyone,

I have tried to search through this thread, but not having much luck. I would like to import the Gopro9 from the US.

Will this get blocked by Aramex due to the lithium-ion batteries?

Anyone used AGS from US lately ? Want to buy a mouse and graphics card just not sure what the lead / delivery time will be.
 
Hey I have a general question.
I am trying to order something from China. The seller is willing to ship free of charge to a closer country eg. Saudi Arabia AGS branch.
Then the item would be forwarded by AGS to me in CPT.
This would be much cheaper than if the seller ships to AGS China warehouse and then AGS to me in CPT.

Does this work? Or would I have to pay custom duties at Saudi Arabia AND CPT?

Interested to know if you were able to resolve this issue. I also am considering ordering from Apple Hong Kong.

You reply faster than aramex, lol

I ordered some electronics in Europe and had them delivered to the Switzerland office, as the website didn't automatically charge taxes to Switzerland , thinking that I wouldn't have to pay any before the south Africa leg.

However I got slapped with a 1000 rand customs charge from Switzerland. Will have to pay more on entry to SA.

Is there any way I can recover this fee I paid? Seeing that I forwarded the parcel out Switzerland.

Mines been sitting since the 8th of November multiple emails they keep telling me they will expedite it for clearance no movement whatsoever
 
so a few days ago i bought like 9 small items, phone cases, screen protectors and a sd card on Aliexpress which all showed that it delivered to SA. Im 100% certain I chose my home address and not the aramex UK address when buying them. anyway i must have been confused as i just checked the app and it shows they on their way to aramex uk. So what will happen when they receive a phone cover that basically cost R50? do i have to pay the shipping fee from aramex? or can i ask them to send it back to china?

I received it today, log a case online and then quote that. They e just not doing their jobs basically.
 
Where on their site do you increase the insured value of your package.

Does the option become available once they have received the package

Right now all i can see is the basic free cover of $99

Go to the website.
Go to "my addresses"
Select the address you shipping to, eg. New York. There is a box you can tick to enable it for that address.

I see the box , however , should i want to increase the cover over and above the free cover of $99, how do you go about doing that , i don't see that option anywhere.

I've brought in a HD6XX from Drop via AGS. No particular issue, other than AGS has become really slow. I have another package in transit with them, and it's been weeks. Package just sits in their warehouses for days on end without anything happening.
 
So I woke up yesterday with a $60 charge on my PayPal account from Aramex. Anyone else seen something similar happen? Any idea who I can contact to have it sorted out?
 
Has anybody had success in importing vitamin d3 higher than 5000iu from websites like iherb using aramex. I orderderd a box of 50000iu and now it's stuck at aramex port health. I have a doctors prescription on hand but have no idea how to get it thru to them and or it will even make a difference in the situation.
