Nothing about the Tokyo address changing, and I have all their messages from 12 August (in MESSAGES tab on webpage).
You have a justifiable claim against them.

I know, I filed a claim 39 days ago and they said it would take 29 days to process. Anyone got Andy van der Velde's contact or whoever is CEO now so I can get someone ****ing fired.

I have found that on the site I cannot track. I have to copy the tracking number into the aramex.com site then I can track.

Ordered two parcels, one from Amazon. The amazon order was for optics (Vortex Viper Red Dot) which carries no customs charges in SA, yet I was charged customs charges over an above the 14% VAT. But we wanted it ASAP so we didnt squabble over R300.

From experience. It takes closer to 2 months. Did you fill out that claim form?

Thanks, it didn't work for me last two times. Even phoned before 6 today to ask them and they had no idea. (Olivia already had left).

I used it this morning. :)

Morning Katleho

It's been 48 days since you sent the email saying it would take 29 days to process my refund and I have not seen any payment or communication from your side.
Not to mention another parcel has arrived at the Tokyo exchange and they haven't acknowledged it on the AGS site.

Good Day *****

I hope you are well.

I apologize for the delay in the payment of the claim that was submitted, it seems our accounts department had not processed the payment. I have however been advised the payment will be processed as soon as possible.

The shipment that was delivered and not reflecting I am following up.

I've been messaging her the entire time and she never EVER gets back to me. At this point I'm going to spam their ticket system until I get someone that isn't a complete ****ing retard, crash it or get a higher up to **** on them from a dizzy height.

How do you all deal with repairs/replacements? I've usually managed to ship back the item via the post office (twice). But it's very daunting. I just sent off an item 9 days ago via the post office, and there has been no update after "insert item into bag". I think it still needs to go to JHB before it is sent to the states. My only concern right now is theft at our post office. The supplier has already sent me a replacement to my Aramex address, and it's already been delivered. Now I'm just hoping my item gets to them, otherwise I'll have to pay again.
How does everyone else deal with RMA matters?

Also, I've had no issues with AGS. Issues are bound to crop up from time to time, but I feel complaining on Hello Peter and what not is not really such a good thing always. We already struggle to get stuff here, and Aramex can just stop the service if they want. Maybe I'm wrong, just how I feel.

Returning an item is always a schlep, especially as the seller thinks you are a resident in the vicinity of whatever AGS address you gave him. It has happened to me three times so far - I receive an item that is not as described and have to send it back.
Postage from here is criminally expensive and sometimes not worth complaining if it is going to cost half the money just to send the item back.
Finally I got crafty - I send photos showing the defect. Get the seller to acknowledge the defect, either through eBay resolution centre or PayPal, and then ask for a percentage discount. If the item is totally trashed, as is the case with a Tablet screen I ordered, the seller would rather roll and offer a 95% refund and not accept it back.

Hi

Do you think its worth ordering on Black Friday in the U.S?
Aramex NYC is probably going to have huge backlogs

Still waiting for my item to be returned to the supplier. It's been in the bag for two weeks now! Hope there aren't thieves at the post office...
My replacement was already delivered to NY and should reach me sometime this week (maybe even today).

As long as the seller has your return tracking number, you're good.
