Aramex global shopper

I can't pay for my one shipment, even using the app, so I emailed Olivia at AGS in JHB.
This is her very interesting reply:
"Kindly note that payment for your Shipping Charges for shipment xxxxxx is available online. Please take care not to use the App as there are many system faults with it, and our Head Office hasn’t advised as to when this will be resolved."

What good alternatives are there for shipping a multitool (leatherman) since Aramex has so many exclusions on what they will or won't ship..?

Set your eBay address to South Africa and not USA (It's easier through the app).

Look for the items that have a shipping amount - those are the ones who are willing to ship to SA.

Order.

Wait very patiently for the postman. :)
I've had bad luck with eBay of late with 2 of three packages not arriving. Currently waiting for another one but will be logging PayPal disputes within the 60days this time around as its not a case of wait and it will eventually arrive as I've unfortunately realised.

Then try bidorbuy. There are a number of different companies selling leatherman's on bob.

Here we go again.. Round and round in our little circle....
Yep. I've emailed Olivia but I don't see them shipping anything like that here. Bloody amazon with their nonsense won't ship it here either. Will have to look at the other alternatives.

I have an idea. Fly to New York, have fun, buy leatherman and catch a flight back again.
Wait, wait... There's something wrong with that idea as well.

Guys, do not order anything from Yoycart. I paid $12.95 to get my TV part order sent EMS from China to Hong Kong and then they wanted an extra $65 to deliver to Aramex in the warehouse district.

I hopefully will get a refund, but it was a nasty business.

I am now acting like I'm Turkish and getting he same thing from TVECZANESİ in Istanbul. Thank you Google Translate. :D

Not arriving at aramex depot or not arriving after in SA (this would be aramex fault) ?

So I have a number of items in my basket for Amazon, just waiting for black Friday and good headphones and will then order.

Quick question. If amazon doesn't ship them together (although it will be amazon prime and all in stock). What happens if it arrives in 2 batches at aramex but the second one will be my 4th shipment this year - all have been relatively cheap orders, around R800 an order.

I read somewhere here that not allowed to import more than 3 times per year through aramex?

In my experience and from info from somewhere on this thread or forum the five imports doesn't come in to play when buying for personal use.

Isnt only a problem if you order 5 of the same item. Cuz that would seem to be for reselling purposes. But if its all kinds of different stuff the whole time its probably fine. I most definitely have had far more than 5 orders in a single year.

I've had toy guns flagged as unacceptable. Return fee is $25 so ended up having it destroyed.

Recently had a package go to the states warehouse as punishment for not clearing fast enough. But hey sars had a backlog and are the reason it hasn't been cleared. They employing more staff to help but guess who pays the penalty plus storage fees?
